For long-time service to the chapter and National Fraternity. Like his father before him, John devoted a large portion of his life as a volunteer for Beta Chapter. Past advisor, member of the Board of Governors and president of the House Corporation over a 40 year time span. John also served as a graduate member of the Phi Kappa Tau National Council and continues as a member of the Phi Kappa Tau Foundation. His company Lawhead Press, served as the official publisher of the National Fraternity for many years. Past recipient of the Phi Award for service given to his own chapter.
